Dr Víctor de Paz Hermoso is among the most qualified zygomatic implant experts in Spain. He is the leading zygomatic implant surgeon at Instituto Maxilofacial IMA, the official ZAGA Center in Madrid.

He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the Complutense University of Madrid. Then he specialized in family and community medicine, working for a year at the Hospital Virgen de la Salud’s emergency department in Toledo. Afterward, Dr de Paz specialized in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Ramón y Cajal University Hospital in Madrid. 

Dr Víctor de Paz Hermoso was trained in Spain, Sweden, and Germany. Throughout the years, he gained wide experience in head and neck oncological and reconstructive surgery.

Since 1995, Dr de Paz has been working as a maxillofacial surgeon at the Instituto Maxilofacial Acero, combining his activity as a surgeon with his teaching activity. He teaches pre-prosthetic surgery at the Master of Oral Surgery in the University of Alcalá de Henares and at the Master of Oral Surgery and Implantology in the Complutense University of Madrid, and the European University in Madrid.

Dr de Paz Hermoso is a fellow of the European Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Tours (France) and a member of the European Association of Osseointegration (EAO) and the Spanish Society of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. Regarding his work-related activities, Dr Victor de Paz Hermoso is the author of multiple publications and presentations at national and international congresses. 

Finally, Dr de Paz Hermoso shares his years of experience and knowledge in ZAGA’s mentoring program designed for specialists who want to learn about zygomatic implant rehabilitation.
