Dr. David Pastorino

CEO & Partner

Dr. David Pastorino is involved in many projects related to biomaterials, bone reconstruction, and 3D printing technologies. After founding and leading to success a biomimetic bone graft substitute manufacturer, he now is the CEO of ZAGA Centers. With a passion for making things happen, Dr. David Pastorino is always chasing opportunities and connecting people to make the world a better place. Dr. David Pastorino has a Ph.D. in Biomaterials Science (Bone Regeneration) and a Harvard Law School certificate in Legal Contracts. 

Radu Trăscău

Communication and Marketing Manager

Radu Trăscău dedicated his passion to communication in all its forms. He started by working in most renowned national televisions and moved to digital communication six years ago, searching for new challenges. He is currently doing a Ph.D. in technology and innovation, researching how public institutions’ communication could be more transparent with the citizens using new technologies platforms.

Dr. Carlos Aparicio

President and Founder

Dr. Carlos Aparicio is a well-known global expert in the complex technique of zygomatic implants, which consists of oral rehabilitation in the face of dental loss by means of prostheses fixed to the jawbone. He is indeed the creator of the ZAGA method and philosophy, an innovative systemic approach in the treatment of patients who present a lack of maxillary bone necessary for the fixation of an implant.

Dr. Jaume Villanueva

Co-Founder

Prof. Jaume Villanueva is one of the co-founders of ZAGA Centers Network and an Assistant Professor at Rutgers Business School in the Department of Management & Global Business. Also, Jaume Villanueva is an active investor in the biomaterial manufacturing sector, interested in 3D printing technologies.
