6th live training

From 17th to 20th March, São Paulo once again became the global hub for advanced zygomatic implantology as the 6th edition of the ZAGA Live Training took place at Blanc Hospital in Brazil. This exclusive, hands-on educational experience, led by the renowned Dr. André Sakima and Dr. Jan Peter Ilg from ZAGA Center São Paulo, provided a unique opportunity to refine expertise in zygomatic implant surgery, bringing together advanced techniques and real-world clinical application.

Structured for Maximum Learning: An Immersive, Hands-On Experience

The ZAGA Live Training is not just another implantology course; it is a transformative journey where participants gain direct surgical experience on real patients under the guidance of leading experts. Over four intensive days, attendees performed zygoma implant surgeries, applying cutting-edge techniques and learning the nuances of the ZAGA Concept in a highly interactive and supervised environment.

The program is carefully structured to offer an extensive learning process, ensuring theoretical knowledge and practical skills development. The journey began with a welcome cocktail on Sunday, providing an opportunity for early networking and informal discussions.

Monday was dedicated to planning and theory, introducing zygomatic implantology and the ZAGA Concept. This included a detailed presentation of surgical techniques and hands-on training with patient prototypes from Dental 3D Models to familiarize participants with the procedures.

Tuesday and Wednesday focused on live surgeries and case discussions. Practical training with patient prototypes preceded real surgical procedures on live patients under expert supervision. Throughout these sessions, participants received continuous guidance on oral rehabilitation, complication management, and rehabilitated patients’ evaluation.

Thursday shifted back to theory, concentrating on complications and patient follow-ups. This day marked the program’s conclusion with further discussions on complications, patient evaluations, and a final wrap-up session. The journey culminated in a diploma ceremony and a closing cocktail, celebrating the completion of an intensive yet rewarding educational experience.
