Implantology and periodontology in one practice
Prof Dr Peter Simon founded the Implantat-Zentrum und Zahnarztpraxis Dres. Simon and has worked mainly in implantology throughout his career. The practice was one of the first ZAGA Centers in Germany. Dr Madalina Simon has worked in periodontology since 1995 and holds a Master of Science in Implantology (2004) and in Aesthetic Reconstructive Dentistry (2007). Many patients with severe maxillary atrophy lost their teeth to periodontal disease, and in this practice the same team treats the gums and plans the implants.
Teaching and professional societies
Prof Simon lectures at national and international congresses and has been a visiting professor at universities in Valencia, Bilbao, Konstanz and Padua. He co-founded the DZOI, served on its board for many years and is a former Vice President of the German Society for Dental Implantology. Dr Madalina Simon is a member of societies including the DGÄZ, the BDIZ and the European Association for Osseointegration.
