DR TAKUMA ANDO

Dr. Takuma Ando is a distinguished oral surgeon and founder of the Shinseikai medical group, overseeing four clinics across Tokyo, Saitama, Kanagawa, and Shizuoka, with a team of over 50 dedicated professionals. He embarked on his dental journey at Showa University School of Dentistry, graduating in 2010, and has been an integral part of the ORC Implant Clinic in Tokyo since 2011.

Dr. Ando’s expertise in implantology is well-recognized. He serves as a part-time lecturer at Showa University and a clinical instructor for the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare’s training program for young dentists. His passion for dental implantology extends beyond the clinic. He often engages with international colleagues to enhance his skills and knowledge through the exchange of specialized techniques.

With a career that has evolved from creating prosthetic teeth for over 1,500 jaws to focusing on full arch and zygomatic implants, Dr. Ando routinely performs 15 to 20 zygoma implants and constructs new teeth for over 20 jaws monthly. His significant contributions to the field include presenting clinical statistical research on the All-on-4 concept at the Japanese Society of Oral Implantology.

Recognized as a certified specialist by the Japanese Society of Oral Implantology since 2017 and a member of the International Team for Implantology (ITI), Dr. Ando proudly continues the legacy of his father, Dr. Masami Ando, who was the first ZAGA Certified dentist in Japan. Dr. Masami Ando’s dedication to excellence in implantology led to the ORC Implant Clinic in Tokyo being certified as ZAGA Center Tokyo. Following in his father’s footsteps, Dr. Takuma Ando is committed to advancing the dental implant solutions pioneered by his father and maintaining the high standard of care at ZAGA Center Tokyo. Dr. Ando adopts the ZAGA philosophy as his guiding approach to zygomatic rehabilitation, focusing on patient well-being as a cornerstone. This philosophy goes beyond conventional methods by tailoring treatment plans to the individual characteristics and needs of each patient, ensuring the choice of materials and implants is specifically suited to them.
