In the field of advanced implantology, few names are as recognized as ZAGA Centers. But what does it truly mean to be part of this network? For many clinicians around the world, becoming a ZAGA Center is a professional milestone, a mark of excellence, and an opportunity to collaborate with some of the most respected experts in zygomatic implant rehabilitation.

A Global Network of Excellence

To be a ZAGA Center means to belong to a select group of dental clinics and surgeons committed to the highest standards of care in treating patients with severe maxillary atrophy. The ZAGA Concept (Zygoma Anatomy-Guided Approach) promotes a patient-specific, anatomy-guided philosophy for zygomatic implant placement—prioritizing safety, long-term success, and minimally invasive procedures.

ZAGA Centers are located worldwide, united by shared values: excellence in surgery, continuous education, ethical practice, and collaboration. Each ZAGA Center is independently owned and operated, but all follow a common clinical philosophy that puts the patient at the center of every decision.

Why Doctors Choose to Become a ZAGA Center

For doctors, the decision to pursue ZAGA Certification is both professional and personal. Many are seeking more than just clinical advancement—they want to connect with like-minded professionals, contribute to a collaborative global environment, and stand out in their field for offering a specialized service that few can provide.

By becoming a ZAGA Center, a clinic gains:

  • Recognition and Credibility: ZAGA Certification is a symbol of trust and excellence, enhancing the reputation of the practice among patients and peers alike.

  • Educational Support: Certified doctors receive access to ongoing training, hands-on cadaver courses, case reviews, and mentorship from pioneers in zygomatic implantology.
  • Science Contribution and Innovation: As a certified member of the ZAGA Network, ZAGA Doctors have the chance to constantly participate in scientific studies, like our “Quality Of Life” Study; also, ZAGA Doctors benefit from high-definition segmentation dental 3D Models prepared by our team, used to plan complex surgeries, patient education or product demonstrations.

  • Referral Opportunities: ZAGA Centers are part of a referral network that connects complex cases with the right professionals, often across borders.

  • Marketing Visibility: Inclusion in the official ZAGA Center map and communication channels helps attract patients actively looking for advanced solutions.

Most importantly, ZAGA Centers benefit from being part of something greater—a movement in modern implantology that values precision, customization, and global cooperation.

The ZAGA Concept: A Patient-Centered Philosophy

The foundation of ZAGA Centers lies in the ZAGA Concept, a revolutionary clinical approach that adapts the surgical technique to the unique anatomy of each patient. Unlike traditional methods, which often follow rigid protocols, the ZAGA Approach emphasizes flexibility and personalization.

This concept allows for:

    • Minimized surgical complications

    • Faster healing times

    • Higher long-term success rates

    • Improved patient satisfaction

Certified ZAGA Doctors are trained to plan and execute implant procedures with maximum respect for anatomical structures, ensuring predictable and long-lasting outcomes. The goal is always the same: to restore function, aesthetics, and confidence to edentulous patients through innovative, evidence-based techniques.

How to Become a ZAGA Center

The ZAGA Certification process ensures that only committed, qualified professionals join the network. While selective, the pathway to certification is clear and supportive:

  1. Initial Evaluation: Clinics submit an application including their experience with zygomatic implants, clinical philosophy, and infrastructure. This helps determine alignment with the ZAGA principles.

  2. Training & Observation: Candidates are invited to attend a ZAGA Course, where they receive hands-on training with real anatomical models, or take advantage of the online ZAGA Course. Additional observation and case discussions with ZAGA Certified experts may be required.

  3. Case Validation: Applicants must present documented cases of zygomatic implant surgeries performed in alignment with the ZAGA Concept. These cases are reviewed and discussed in detail.

  4. Certification: Once approved by the ZAGA Council, the clinic receives its official certification as a ZAGA Center and is added to the global network.

Continuous Development: Certification is not the end—it is the beginning of a long-term relationship. Certified Centers are expected to participate in ongoing training and contribute to the collective knowledge of the community.

Who Can Apply?

ZAGA Certification is open to experienced clinicians and dental clinics with a proven record in implantology, particularly those dealing with atrophic maxilla cases. Applicants must demonstrate clinical excellence, a commitment to patient-centered care, and a desire to contribute to the broader ZAGA network.

Whether you’re a maxillofacial surgeon or implantologist, if you are looking to expand your skills and join a movement focused on long-term success and global collaboration, becoming a ZAGA Center may be the next step in your career.

In order to ensure the exclusivity of each certified clinic and to be recognized as the ZAGA Center of reference in the area, please note that it is not possible to be certified as a ZAGA Center if the clinic is less than two hours drive from another ZAGA Center.
