In Memoriam: DR MASAMI ANDO

Dr. Masami Ando, a key opinion leader in advanced dentistry and a globally recognized zygomatic implant expert, left an indelible mark through his innovative practices. Known as the fastest zygomatic implant surgeon, Dr. Ando set benchmarks for efficiency and revolutionized the approach to zygomatic rehabilitation in Japan, adopting the ZAGA philosophy to treat patients with maxillary atrophy.

Under his leadership, the ORC Implant Clinic was distinguished as the first certified ZAGA Center in Asia, symbolizing a new standard in zygomatic rehabilitation across the region. His team of dental professionals trained at premier institutions globally reflects Dr. Ando’s commitment to excellence and his passion for education.

Dr. Ando’s legacy extends beyond his surgical achievements and high treatment success rates. His dedication to knowledge sharing led him to organize and participate in educational courses, making significant contributions to the field of zygomatic implants.
