
DR KHALED ZOUD

Dr Khaled Zoud is a Specialist Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon who obtained a Bachelor of Dental Surgery, with First Class Honors, from the University of Sydney in 1994 and a Bachelor of Medicine, with Honours, from the University of Newcastle in 2002. After completing his specialist training in 3 major tertiary referral hospitals in Australia, Dr Zoud obtained his Specialist Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2006.
Dr Zoud received the Richard.M.Howe Prize in Anatomy for Dental Prosection and the John.I.Hunter Prize in conjunction with the title of Prosector from the University of Sydney. He also received the Society of Oral Surgeons of NSW medallion for Oral Medicine and Oral Surgery. He was also awarded the outstanding paper published in the Australian Dental Journal (Clinical Report Category).
Specializing in a diverse array of Oral and Maxillofacial surgical procedures, Dr. Zoud’s expertise particularly shines in complex dental implant and bone grafting cases. With over a decade of experience in zygomatic implant surgery, he stands out as one of Australia’s few Specialist Surgeons who routinely perform zygomatic implant placements. Notably, Dr. Zoud is the sole ZAGA Centers certified surgeon in Australia.
Additionally, Dr Zoud is dedicated to education and has been a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney for more than two decades. Dr Zoud also enjoys teaching specialists and general dental practitioners in the safe placement of zygomatic implants using the ZAGA method and philosophy as taught by Dr Carlos Aparicio.
Dr Zoud has partnered with Dr Fadi Yassmin, the owner of FY Smile, as Australia’s first and only ZAGA Center dedicated to helping people with atrophic jaws receive fixed teeth with zygomatic implant solutions.
