DR HERMES SOMONTE DAVILA

Dr. Hermes Somonte Davila is a highly skilled and dedicated dentist with a commitment to providing exceptional oral healthcare to patients. Being part of the Sani Dental Group dental team, he brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the field of dentistry.

Dr. Somonte received the degree of dental surgeon and the specialization in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the University of Medical Sciences of Havana, Cuba. Additionally, he holds a master’s degree of Science in Dental Emergency from the University of Medical Sciences of Pinar del Río, Cuba.

Moreover, he remains updated with the most recent developments in dentistry by consistently pursuing education and training. Some outstanding courses he has attended include the symposium Straumann E-Symposium LATAM “Changing Paradigms: Immediacy at the Next Level” imparted in Portugal in 2020, and the workshop course “Occlusal Rehabilitation, Implant Assisted Solutions”, imparted by Nobel Biocare in Mexico in 2021.

Besides his commitment to patient care, Dr. Somonte has taught at several universities in both Cuba and Mexico and is also a member of several important dental associations. His active involvement in organizations such as the Mexican Association of Oral Implantology, the Latin American Group on Research and Clinical Applications of Biomaterials, and the Mexican Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery reflects his commitment to staying in the vanguard of dental innovation and research.

Dr. Somonte Davila joined ZAGA Centers Network as the chief surgeon at ZAGA Center Los Algodones, Mexico, in August 2023. He seamlessly integrated the ZAGA methodology into his approach to zygomatic implant procedures. He aims to offer stable teeth solutions to all patients, including those with several dental complications often overlooked by other professionals.
