Dr. Leon Smith is a skilled oral and maxillofacial surgeon, serving as a consultant at the Royal Perth Hospital and operating a private practice with Oral Surgery Consultants in West Perth, ZAGA Center Perth. Not only is he an exceptional surgeon, but Dr. Smith prides himself on patient relationships. At Oral Surgery Consultants, every patient receives an individualized treatment plan. Dr. Smith’s achievements reflect his dedication and reputation as a leading dental surgeon. He also remains engaged as a researcher and continues to advance his expertise through ongoing education.

Dr. Leon Smith earned his degree in dentistry from the University of Western Australia, followed by a graduate diploma and a medical and surgical degree from the University of Melbourne. He is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. He has completed post-fellowship training in maxillofacial, orthognathic, and head and neck surgery at Royal Darwin Hospital and Royal Melbourne Hospital, making him highly qualified in the most sophisticated fields of dentistry.

Dr. Smith continues to train advanced surgical trainees in oral and maxillofacial surgery. His clinical interests include wisdom teeth, dental implants, facial trauma, jaw surgery, and zygomatic implant surgery.

Throughout his career, Dr. Smith has published several extensive papers in journals such as the Australian Dental Journal and has delivered numerous professional presentations.
