
Dr. Satoshi Kato is a distinguished Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and Implantologist, renowned for his expertise in zygomatic implants and vast knowledge in All-On-4 treatments. As the head of the Kato Dental Clinic Implants & Orthodontics, the first and only ZAGA Center in Osaka, Dr. Kato leads a team dedicated to cutting-edge dental solutions.
His approach aligns deeply with the ZAGA philosophy, prioritizing customized treatment tailored to each patient’s needs. His expertise in zygomatic implants allows him to effectively address the most challenging cases where traditional dental implant methods are inadequate. This allows patients to regain confidence and a healthy, functional smile.
Education and Professional Development
Dr. Satoshi Kato graduated with a D.D.S. from Nippon Dental University in Tokyo, Japan, in 1982. After completing his studies in Tokyo, he worked for Medical Corporation Koshinkai Miyata Dental Clinic for four years. Later, in 1991, Dr. Satoshi decided to open the Kato Dental Clinic, Implants & Orthodontics Center.
Since 2006, he has also delivered numerous presentations in the field. From 2016 to 2022, Dr. Kato gave presentations on Zygomatic Implants at the Ando Dental Clinic (now the ZAGA Center Tokyo) alongside Dr. Masami Ando as part of the Zygoma Course. In 2022, he initiated the Zygoma Hands-On Course and Live Surgery Course with his son, Dr. George, at the Kato Dental Clinic Implants & Orthodontics.
In June 2024, he participated in the ZAGA Cadaver Course in Barcelona, Spain, representing ZAGA Center Osaka, which was certified in October.
