PROF DR CHANTAL MALEVEZ

Prof. Dr. Chantal Malevez has distinguished herself as a preeminent specialist in Maxillofacial Surgery and is recognized for her significant contributions as an Honorary Professor at the Faculty of Medicine (ULB) and within the field of zygomatic rehabilitation. Throughout her illustrious career, Dr. Malevez has been at the forefront of advancements in zygomatic implants, earning her a leading position at the Clinique Saint-Jean, one of the pioneering ZAGA Centers in Belgium.
Her academic achievements have encompassed teaching subjects critical to the field, including bone grafting and zygomatic implant protocols. Prof. Dr. Malevez’s expertise also led her to serve as a clinical chief consultant in the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery and Dentistry at the Children’s Hospital of Brussels, where she specialized in addressing congenital maxillo-facial deformities.
Prof. Dr. Malevez’s commitment to her field extended beyond her clinical roles. She contributed as a consultant at Hospital St. Jean in Brussels and participated in the cleft palate center team within the same institution. Her affiliations with esteemed organizations such as the E.A.O and the Royal Belgian Society of Maxillofacial Surgery underscore her respected status among peers.
A passionate educator and thought leader, Prof. Dr. Malevez has shared her deep knowledge and innovative techniques through national and international lectures. Her scholarly contributions have enriched the academic community, evidenced by numerous publications in implant surgery.
Although Prof. Dr. Chantal Malevez has retired from active medical practice, her legacy continues and she remains within the network through her role in the ZAGA Council. As an advisor, she helps uphold the high standards and philosophy that ensure only the most qualified surgeons join the ZAGA Network.
